Mahi's first Bday

Well I have been really busy lately to update Mahi's blog .. but i do want to fill in the details of her birthday which was the event of the year for me .. although it wasnt a very great party but there were some 100 odd people present to bless Mahi on her first birthday ..

The invitation cards were appreciated by all ..this was my first effort in organising an event and i must say i am not a bad manager :)

Mahi's one and only Masi bought her the birthday dress .. We didnt think of any theme but red and white balloons and Mahi's portfoilio in the background looked great .. Her birthday cake was a dalmation which was instantly recognised by mahi as Bhoo BHoo :)

Several aarti's were performed like Durwa, Kanak, Cotton wishin Mahi all the best in Life .. thanks to Manoj bhaiyya ..

Everyone I invited were there for the party and my joys knew no bounds .. Didi was here too ... Mumma Papa Narayan Neha .. all were bang on time :)

Mahi was not at all a cranky kid .. she was enjoying her cake and swing rides with Mama dear .. thanks to Narayan .. MAhi was most comfortable ..

Mahi received loads of gifts which she would receive when she starts understanding ... I will be uploading a few photos soon ..

Mahi and her schooling

The past week has been really crucial for Anand n me since we are thinking on puttin Mahi to a school where in as small as 2 month old children are enrolled. Mahi has turned 8 month this 6th but somehow our hearts are not yet ready to let go our precious darlin into the outside world.

But Ghosh Sir at Victorious Kidss says its important to understand that the child's brain develops far better and faster at a young age than when it grows .. and we as parents are restricting their brain from developing for our small ego of keeping them closely tugged to us ..

We are giving it a lot of thought and the decision is a 90% yes ! Lets just hope that Mahi benefits tremendously from her early schooling and goes ahead to be a great human being ...

Life is the biggest teacher ..

Life has taught me many lessons and I realised the importance of most of them only after I got married... being from a traditional marwari family I was aware of what I could possibly be able to do once I got married.. thankfully Anand does not carry a typical marwari mindset ... which is why I can have my free will in most situations at home .. I studied as well as worked after marriage which gave me immense satisfaction and I realised that if I am able to convince my true motive to my in laws there would be no resistance from their end for me to do what I will to.

Mahi came as a blessing after 2 and half years of marriage .. now my sole priority remains Mahi and her upbringing in the best possible way .. I dont want to leave any loopholes in there .. she is an active child and I am sure to learn more as and how I nurture her ..

Today I am too busy to think of anything other my chore but I promise to my self to bring out my true potentials one day and make everyone around me proud ...

Mahi turned 6month last week and she has developed so many reflexes recently that its difficult for me to keep a note of all .. she waves her hand as taught by her Papa .. give her any toy she will turn it bang it and check for every sound that it can make .. today she even gave a kiss on her Grandma's cheeks ..

noises are galore .. she makes various sounds .. food habits are spoiling now .. she was better till 5 months .. now madam understands taste and resists anything and everything that doesnt taste good enough .. mundada mam in the making !!

got a few more pants for the winter .. her Buha gave her some more dozen toys to play with and her favourite is the toy telephone ..

she loves her flash cards .. and have put up some charts for her as well .. animals .. numbers .. vegetables .. shapes .. i know its too early but i just want it in front of her eyes .. children have super picture memory ..
